Physio Noosa is committed to the provision of an exceptionally high standard of physiotherapy and exercise physiology intervention and delivery of this service to all patients. The skills and duties of clinical staff are paramount in the smooth and effective delivery of a ‘Health Care Experience Second to None’ for all patients and facilitate the overall physiotherapy and exercise physiology experience of all patients. Our aim is “For Excellence in Physiotherapy Care” for all.
Physio Noosa is located in the new commercial precinct of Noosa Civic; the new thriving retail and business hub of Noosa. Our premises are brand new, architecturally designed and purpose built specifically for physiotherapy, exercise physiology, Pilates and rehabilitation.
We service the inner regions of Noosa and the hinterland area though to Gympie and surrounds. We cater for a wide variety of problems for men, women and children of all ages.
We offer a no nonsense approach with an emphasis on teaching patients to be involved in the management of their conditions to produce long lasting results. This ensures that patients become self sufficient seek ling term, long lasting results and not develop a reliance on quick-fix remedies.

LOCATION
Physio Noosa is conveniently located in the commercial precinct of Noosa Civic; the exciting new retail, business and commercial hub of Noosa. Our building is located on the ‘exit’ side of the Caltex ‘Woolworths’ Petrol station and we are conveniently located on ground level. Abundant parking is available directly in front of the practice.
PRIVATE HEALTH FUND REBATES Health fund rebates apply to all consultations if physio, massage and/or acupuncture is included as part of your policy. Health fund cards can simply be ‘swiped’ so that patients can then just pay the gap difference.
MEDICARE Patients holding an EPC/medicare referral who also hold a senior’s card, pensioner card, health care card or are under the age of 16 years will be bulk billed and will not incur a gap fee. Please present your qualifying concession card at your initial consultation to be eligible.
SENIORS/PENSIONERS/HEALTH CARE CARD HOLDERS/STUDENTS Discounts are offered for patients holding senior’s cards, health care cards and pensioner cards will be offered during non-peak appointments time. Please present your qualifying concession card at your initial consultation to be eligible.
WORKCOVER/MEDICARE (EPC Referrals) If your claim/referral is not accepted for payment, please be aware that you will be responsible for full payment of your account. You will be able to seek reimbursement through your local Medicare or Workcover office.
RUNNING LATE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT We understand that situations arise during the course of your day where you may be delayed. If you are late for your appointment we will still be able to continue with your consultation for the remainder of the time allocated. Usual fees still apply.
CANCELLATIONS We often have people waiting for consultations who are in desperate need of treatment. If you are unable to keep your consultation time we require 24 hours notice or a cancellation fee will apply.
PRACTITIONER DELAYS There may be times where our practitioners run late due to emergencies or very complex problems being attended to. During these situations, we ask for your patience and understanding. If this occurs, we will endeavour to contact you on all of your provided phone numbers to advise you of the imminent delay. In these circumstances, you will be offered your full appointment time without penalty. Our staff will ensure your wait is made comfortable. If you are in pain, then please advise us so we may assist you until your practitioner is fully available for you

Tylana Woodward is a physiotherapist and exercise physiologist with 14 years experience. Tylana has an area of physiotherapy specialty in men’s and women’s health disorders such as pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder and bowel control issues, pre and post natal care and pre and post gynaecological and urological surgical care. Musculoskeletal conditions in relation to pelvic dysfunction are also of interest. |

Peter Lawrenson B.Phty (Physiotherapy) Pre & Post Operative Injuries/Conditions
Peter Lawrenson is a physiotherapist with 5 years experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Peter has a strong interest in the management of post surgical orthopaedic conditions and excels in the rehabilitation of sports injuries. Peter is also gaining post graduate qualifications in strength and conditioning which can be applied to rehabilitation of sports and work related injuries. |

Tatum Hawley is an exercise physiologist and exercise scientist with recent degrees from Adelaide and Sunshine Coast Universities. She is particularly interested in the rehabilitation of patients with orthopaedic conditions, general frailty/deconditioning, respiratory, cardiac and general medical conditions. Tatum also conducts fitness, strength and conditioning sessions for sports people and the general population alike. |

Troy Kratzmann is a physiotherapist and acupuncturist with 12 years experience. Troy has a strong clinical focus on the management of a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic disorders and sports injuries. He is able to successfully combine both a western and eastern approach to injury and disease management that produces outstanding results for his patients. |
